MYOC Disodium EDTA

Disodium EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt) is a versatile chelating agent widely used in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and industrial formulations. It helps bind metal ions, preventing their adverse effects such as discoloration, rancidity, and product degradation. This ingredient enhances the stability and shelf life of products by neutralizing heavy metals that can catalyze oxidative damage. Formulated to be safe and effective, Disodium EDTA is ideal for use in skincare, haircare, and personal care products. It works synergistically with other ingredients to improve product performance and maintain freshness.

Benefits:

• Chelates metal ions to prevent product spoilage and discoloration
• Enhances product stability and extends shelf life
• Improves the effectiveness of preservatives by neutralizing metal contaminants
• Compatible with a wide range of cosmetic formulations
• Helps maintain the texture, color, and fragrance of finished products

How to Use:

1. Typically incorporated at low concentrations (0.05% to 0.2%) in formulations
2. Dissolve fully in the water phase before combining with other ingredients
